Restoring Hope: A Day of Service with the Florida Panthers & Our Incredible Partners

On February 22nd, we witnessed a truly inspiring display of compassion, resilience, and generosity. Thanks to the incredible partnership with the Florida Panthers, our Health & Wellness Outreach Event became a day of service, support, and hope for our unhoused neighbors.

At times, the day was nonstop—each station filled with people in need, each volunteer working tirelessly to serve as many guests as possible. Yet, in the midst of it all, there was a profound sense of purpose. This wasn’t just about providing essential services—it was about restoring dignity, building connections, and reminding each person that they are seen, valued, and cared for. With the dedication of our incredible partners, we were able to make a real, lasting impact in the lives of those who needed it most.

A Day of Impact, A Day of Care

🚿 Showering Love provided 50 warm showers and fresh clothing, ensuring that guests left not only clean but also with a renewed sense of dignity and comfort.

🩺 South Florida Health & Wellness helped 22 people access Hepatitis C medication and conducted critical health screenings, ensuring that medical care was accessible for those who need it most.

💇 Xanadu Cosmetology School brought their talented team and gave over 50 haircuts! A fresh cut does more than change an appearance—it restores confidence and dignity.

🦶 Dr. Stephanie Tine of Flamingo Foot & Ankle and her team provided podiatry care to 35 guests, including new shoes for those in desperate need. Their station was one of the busiest of the day, ensuring that every guest left with healthier feet and a renewed sense of comfort.

💊 The Robin Foundation not only educated guests on how to administer Narcan, a medication that reverses opioid overdoses, but they also distributed over 100 boxes of this lifesaving resource. Their work is helping to fight the opioid crisis, one training at a time.

🏥 Broward Health Medical Center spoke with guests about their initiatives to support people living with HIV, sharing their vision for expanded care and access to treatment.

🍽️ A New Beginning Community Outreach, Inc. made sure guests had access to food, clothing, job opportunities, and housing resources, ensuring that this event provided long-term solutions, not just temporary relief.

And to top it all off, after guests received care, they got to go on a shopping spree! New clothing, essential supplies, and much-needed resources gave them a fresh start and a renewed sense of hope.

A Community United for Change

None of this would have been possible without the generosity and commitment of our partners. This event took dedication, expertise, and a lot of love to bring together, and every single person involved played a role in changing lives.

A HUGE thank you to the Florida Panthers for being our champions in making this day possible. Your support allowed us to bring together such an incredible team of providers, and we are so grateful for your continued partnership!

To Xanadu Cosmetology School, New Beginning, South Florida Health & Wellness, Flamingo Foot & Ankle, Broward Health, and The Robin Foundation—your presence and contributions made an immeasurable impact. Every service provided was done with care, intention, and deep compassion.
